2011 to date - SPONSORSHIP NEEDED FOR GIRLS IN LADAKH
 |
A House in Ladakh for the girls and their foster mothers 2 Nuns. They have been given free schooling in the town. Their new house is being built with extra thick walls because there is no such thing as Central Heating! Until then they need extra warm cloths, heating and food. Can you help by supporting these girls? Can you donate £10 or £15 a month to know they won’t be cold through this winter? |
Originally they were to travel back to Derha Dun, India for the winter but the trip would have been too long, too arduous and too costly for them all to travel home. Help them with home comforts by donating now.
Please for email us more information.
Thank you for your support! |

- Set up health and nutrition programmes all over the world for those in need
- Build English language centres and help to relieve poverty, lack of health care and education facilities in South Asia and other countries, regardless of culture, race, nationality, religion or background
- Promote the message of peace and compassion in Tibetan Buddhism as well as different cultures; education and language teaching
- Create an emphasis on inter-religious dialogue
- Help to create opportunities for IT studies and furthering of IT skills for people in need worldwide & specifically for Tibetans living in exile
- Raising awareness & education towards a multi-ethnic society worldwide
These objectives are to be achieved through means of fund-raising, such as:
- Donations from trust members and volunteer donations

Why yet another charity?
Because We aim to be different.
Do you get fed up giving to a charity where only 10p out of every £10 actually goes towards helping people – the rest is covering overheads?
So do we. It’s time for a change.
Our overheads are deliberately kept low.
All our workers are special: they are, without exception, all volunteers – that means we do our work for the love of it – for the benefit of all – and no money changes hands for wages.
All overheads are kept to a minimum and we work in donated offices & spaces. Through the kindness and generosity of our Trustees and Staff we want to maintain a high standard of Charity where ALL the profits from your donations actually reach the people we raise money for. This is guaranteed by the high ethics of our Trust where we ensure that we cut out the middle man and avoid monies being lost in a bureaucratic system.
How can I do anything to help?
No matter how large our own problems appear, there are still countless people in the world who are so much worse off and who barely get by; it is estimated that approximately 830 million people worldwide live below the ‘breadline’. Perhaps you share our view - that simply our sincere wish to help people like these can help us become part of Lama La’s charity’s path towards success.
Individual Sponsorship for children
The TCT can offer our members individual sponsorship for individual children for as little as £10 per month – please help us & ask for a brochure by calling.
