Tibetan Incense comes from a centuries old tradition of combining special medicinal and therapeutic substances derived from herbs, flowers and minerals that when burned, deliver an aroma which can help to sooth and calm a restless mind. Tibetans living in India hand roll our incense sticks, in their home cottage industries, to make these wonderful fragrances. They use sandalwood, rose petals, jasmine flowers, cedar bark and numerous other ingredients to obtain these enjoyable aromas.

Mother’s Incense

This beautiful incense is handmade in an Indian Co-operative in Pondecherry. Various all natural (no chemicals!) fragrances are available in packs of as follows: Amber, Autumn Leaves, Cinnamon and Spice, Evening Rose, Frankincense, Gardenia, Honeysuckle, Jasmine, Lavender, Lotus, Musk, Myrrh, Opium, Orange Blossom, Patchouli, |Passionflower, Rose, Roses and Violets, Vanilla and Wild Flowers.

The Mothers India Fragrances are based on traditional Indian incense and are therefore stronger than their sister fragrance, The Mothers Fragrance. Each fragrance has honey and a resin called Mattipal as its base. This resin gives the fragrances their full, sweet scent and makes the sticks soft to the touch. The Mini-Sticks will burn for about 30 minutes and the normal sticks will burn for 1-2 hours. Contains 12 and 20 sticks respectively.
